Michael Weston King released his second solo record A New Kind of Loneliness (FW 031) for Floating World on April 16th, 2007. Produced by Michael and Jim Spencer, most of the album was recorded at The Charlatans studio in Manchester. Ron Sexsmith provides harmonies on 'From Out Of The Blue' while Jackie Leven adds his distinctive guitar and vocals on several tracks. Former Byrd Chris Hillman also appears on 'My Heart Stopped Today'. "Bleak is the colour of cult Northern songwriter's new world of pain.
